Description
Japanese bokken SHIRA KASHI HIRAMINE
A bokken accompanies its owner for years.
It bears the marks of training – and tells the story.
The Bokken Shira Kashi Hiramine is made in Japan from high-quality white oak and follows a clear, traditional design. Developed for versatile budō training, it combines perfect balance with authentic material quality.
Material & origin
Made from fine Japanese white oak (Shira Kashi), this bokken stands for strength and natural resilience.
The surface remains unvarnished. This allows the fine wood structure to remain visible and tangible. Over time, the wood develops a characteristic patina – a sign of continuous training.
Each piece has its own individual grain and character.
Made in Japan.
Shape & Construction
The blade shape corresponds to the Hiramine type – with a flat blade back.
The handle end is designed as a tsukagashira (flat), emphasising the clear, minimalist lines.
With a length of approx. 101.5 cm, the bokken corresponds to the classic size for versatile kata and technique training.
Balance & training feel
The bokken lies balanced in the hand and is suitable for various budō disciplines.
The balance supports clean cuts, clear transitions and controlled movements – from basic kihon to advanced kata.
A versatile training tool for a long budō life.
Features
The bokken is delivered without a tsuba or tsuba dome.
