The Bokken Aka Kashi KENMINE is made in Japan from high-quality red oak and combines classic design with careful workmanship. Developed for budōka who value authenticity, balance and honest materials.

Material & workmanship
Made from fine Japanese red oak (Aka Kashi), this bokken impresses with its strength and natural durability.
The surface remains unvarnished so that the natural grain remains visible and noticeable. With increasing training, the wood develops a characteristic patina – a sign of intensive use and growing experience.
In the deluxe KENMINE version, the bokuto has a pronounced mune (ridge) on the back of the blade and a gently rounded hanmaru handle end. These details underline the high-quality workmanship and ensure comfortable handling.
Shape & balance
The basic shape corresponds to the Hiramine type with a flat blade back.
The handle end is designed as a tsukagashira (flat) and complements the clear, traditional lines.
With a length of approx. 101.5 cm, the bokken corresponds to the classic size for kata and technique training. The balanced weight ensures a calm, controlled feel.
Use in training
The Bokken Aka Kashi KENMINE is suitable for precise technique work in kendo as well as other budō disciplines.
It is supplied without a tsuba or tsuba dome and can be customised according to your own training preferences.
