The Bokken Aka Kashi from Kendo24 is made from high-quality Japanese red oak and is aimed at serious budō practitioners who value authenticity and durability.
Material – Japanese red oak (Aka Kashi)
Aka Kashi has proven itself for centuries in kenjutsu, iaido, aikido and kendo.
The dense, durable wood gives the bokken stability and longevity. The natural reddish colour is not only visually striking, but also an expression of the high quality of the material.
The wood fibres run along the entire length of the bokken, reducing the risk of stress fractures – even under intensive use.
With a length of approx. 101.5 cm, the Aka Kashi corresponds to the classic dimensions for kata training.

The bokken lies balanced in the hand and conveys an authentic katana feel – without the dangers.
