Bokken Iwama Ryu Shiro Kashi
The Bokken Iwama Ryu Shiro Kashi is manufactured from finest japanese white oak. Shiro Kashi is habitated in the southern Kyushu Islands. Handselected woods are used for these Bokken, with a continuous wood grain. The fibers of the wood runs parallel from Kissaki to the Tsuka. Iwama Ryu Bokken have a larger sori than Aikido Bokken (Takemusu Iwama Ryu). Thereby the Bokken is more strongly curved. The Bokken Iwama Ryu has been developed out of the Takemusu Bokken by Saito Sensei.
